POST SHOW HIGHLIGHTS
I played my thank you remarks at the Afrolatino Festival (I received a Cultural Preservation Award for my Wikipedia work with Afrocrowd) as well as those of awardees Susana Baca, Gloria Karamañites, Zahira Kelly and Elizabeth Acevedo.
I also discussed what an Afrolatino is and the purpose of the Afrolatino Festival with Amilcar Priestley, whether Haitians are Afrolatinos with Ayanna Legros and the film on Father Joseph and Fonkoze that Steeve Coupeau is distributing.
